November 4, 2011: Lecture by Japanese Economist

On November 4, 2011, the Consulate-General of Japan's Japan Information Centre, together with Kwansei Gakuin University and Victoria University in the University of Toronto, will present:


The Global Financial Crisis and Financial Linkages in the Asia-Pacific Region
a Lecture by Akira KOHSAKA, School of International Studies, Kwansei Gakuin University

Professor Akira Kohsaka, who received his Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University in 1984, has been affiliated with the School of International Studies, Kwansei Gakuin University since April, 2011. He has worked for the Institute of Developing Economies in Tokyo (1975-1988), the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at Kyoto University (1988-1994) and Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP) at Osaka University (1994-2011). Members and followers of the CJS with an interest in economics or current affairs should consider attending what is sure to be an informative event.
